About Us
SirfSports is a sports media publication focused on MMA, UFC, combat sports, and the athletes shaping the fight world today. Our coverage is built for fans who want more than surface-level headlines, people who care about the technical side of fighting, the stories behind the athletes, and the details that casual coverage often misses.
While our primary focus is currently mixed martial arts and the UFC, SirfSports is being built as a long-term sports media platform that will gradually expand into boxing, professional wrestling, and other major sports categories over time.
Every article published on SirfSports is written and edited with an emphasis on accuracy, context, and clarity. We aim to create content that serves both hardcore fight fans and newer audiences trying to better understand the sport.
What We Cover?
At the heart of SirfSports is MMA coverage.
We cover:
- UFC events and fight cards
- Fighter profiles and career breakdowns
- Rankings, divisions, and championship updates
- Fight analysis and technical breakdowns
- Press conferences, interviews, and industry news
- Major developments across promotions like UFC, PFL, ONE Championship, and Bellator
As the platform continues to grow, SirfSports is also expanding coverage into:
- Boxing
- WWE and professional wrestling
- Global combat sports
- Additional mainstream sports categories in the future
This phased approach allows us to maintain depth and expertise rather than publishing broad, low-quality coverage across every sport at once.
What Makes SirfSports Different
A large portion of sports content online is designed purely for traffic. We built SirfSports differently.
We focus on:
- Accurate reporting
- SEO-driven but reader-first journalism
- Timely sports news coverage
- Fact-checked athlete and event information
- Context-driven analysis
- Clear distinction between reporting and opinion
We believe sports fans are far more informed than many publications assume. MMA fans understand judging controversies, stylistic matchups, grappling exchanges, and divisional politics. Our content is written with that audience in mind.
Our Editorial Standards
Every piece of content published on SirfSports goes through the same process:
Facts are verified before publication. Champion names, fight records, statistical claims, and historical dates are checked against primary sources — UFC.com, official athletic commission records, and established sports databases. We do not publish statistics we cannot source.
Champion and results pages are updated within 24 hours of any title change. Static sports content that doesn’t reflect current reality is misinformation. If a title changes hands Saturday night, every reference to that title on this site reflects the new champion by Sunday.
We correct errors publicly. When we get something wrong, we correct it in the article, note what was changed and when, and don’t quietly delete the error. Transparency about corrections is a baseline standard of honest journalism.
We separate analysis from reporting. Opinion pieces and analytical content are labeled as such. When we argue that a judge’s scorecard was wrong, or that a fighter’s recent run makes them the divisional frontrunner, that’s analysis, and it’s presented as analysis, not as objective fact.
We do not accept payment for editorial coverage. SirfSports’s coverage decisions are made independently of commercial relationships. Fighters, promotions, managers, and brands cannot purchase positive coverage, and our advertising relationships have no influence over what we write.
Our Vision
SirfSports was created with a long-term vision: build authority in one category first, then expand responsibly into broader sports coverage.
Rather than chasing every trending topic across all sports immediately, our strategy is centered around becoming a trusted destination for MMA and combat sports coverage before scaling into:
- Boxing
- Wrestling
- Football
- Cricket
- Basketball
- Other global sports markets
This allows us to grow organically while maintaining editorial quality and topical authority.
Why the Name “SirfSports”?
“Sirf” means “only” in several South Asian languages.
The name reflects our original philosophy — focusing only on the sports we deeply understand and genuinely follow. That principle continues to shape our editorial direction today.
